Joan Roberts

FREDERICKTOWN - Vila Jane "Joan" (Fite) Roberts of Fredericktown, passed away on October 3, 2023 at Ozark Manor at the age of 72. She was born in Portageville, Missouri on February 6, 1951, to the late Robert E. Lee Fite and Helen E. (Lankford) Fite. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Roberts; a daughter, Melissa (Mills) Goodman and a son, Henry "Buddy" Mills, III. Joan was a long-time resident of Fredericktown. She loved her cat, Lilee, enjoyed watching television, doing crafts and playing bingo at Ozark Manor. Survivors include three sisters, Kayae (Fite) Thompson and Tiffany J. (Charles) Fite both of Fredericktown and Karonia L. (Ron) Beck of Marquand; two brothers, Robert A. (Shirley) Fite of Greenville and Jerry W. Fite, Sr. of Fredericktown; one grandson, Brandon Sutton of Fredericktown. Also surviving are seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
