Joan Clark

DOE RUN - Joan Clark of Doe Run passed away in her home on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at the age of 88. She was born in Elkville, Illinois on August 7, 1934 to the late Jake Burnett and Violet (Peckler) Burnett. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Clark; a son, Rod Green; her twin sister, Jean Williams and a brother, Jerry Burnett. Joan enjoyed gardening and was an excellent cook. She had a stubborn streak but had a great sense of humor coupled with some comical one-liners. She loved all of God's creatures and no critter came into her yard without receiving a treat of some kind. She even carried dog treats in her car and gave them out to the neighbor's dogs. She will be sorely missed by all those who loved her. Survivors include her caregiver and friend, Debbie Skaggs; niece, Sherry Rambin and nephew, Roy Williams, Jr. Also surviving are a host of great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
