Jimmy Dale Lunsford

FARMINGTON Jimmy Dale Lunsford, of Farmington, passed away on March 25, 2021 at ClaRu Deville Nursing Center in Fredericktown at the age of 72. He was born on August 23, 1948, in Leadwood, Missouri to the late Harry & Ruby Eleanor (Benton) Lunsford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Clubb and a niece, Melinda Clubb. Jim spent many years working in maintenance for manufacturing companies. He often enjoyed working on cars and was known as a self made mechanic. He loved his family and enjoyed the times they attended the Farmington Church of God and Park Hills Assembly of God; where he was a dedicated church goer and often enjoyed cooking lunch for his fellow church members. Jim will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Deanna Jean (Davis) Lunsford, his children, Lynda Lunsford and Jimmy (Christy) Lunsford, II, one grandson, Trevor Lunsford, his siblings Jane (Wilburn) Hayes and Michael Lunsford along with many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 12:00pm until time of service at 2:00pm at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Private interment to follow at Little Vine Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve.
