Jewell Kathleen Watkins

FARMINGTON Jewell Kathleen Watkins of Farmington passed away June 23, 2018 at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center in Farmington at the age of 86. She was born July 1, 1931 in Mine La Motte, Missouri to the late Harrison Otto and Martha Luella (Pitchford) Duncan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Glenwood Watkins, her son, Kenneth Dale Watkins, brothers, Glenn Duncan, Robert "Bob" Duncan, Walden Duncan, and sisters, Venus Ransom, Jean Duncan, Hilda Oliver and Ann Livingston.

Jewell was a life time member at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church and was a dedicated Christian. She enjoyed bowling and gardening.

Survivors include her children, Janet Jenkins of Farmington, Bruce (Patti) Watkins of Nashville, TN and Steve (Kathy Hays) Watkins of Farmington, stepchildren, Kay Watkins of Farmington and Eddie (Cathy) Watkins of Farmington, sixteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, siblings, Betty Duncan of St. Louis and Richard "Dick" (Helen) Duncan of Farmington, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Friends may call on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 10:00am until time of service at 1:00pm at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.
