Jerry Don Stahl

Jerry Don Stahl of Farmington passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at the age of 64. He was born on July 30, 1949, at Charter Oak, MO, son of the late Thomas Adawn Stahl and Anna Lee (Gromer) Stahl Hackney. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Miriam Kathleen Stahl in 2010; his step-father, Forest Hackney, a brother Wayne Stahl; two children, Keeley and Nicole Stahl and a special nephew, Delmar Lee Kirkendall. Jerry grew up in St. Louis and went on to live in California for many years. In 2000 he moved back to the area and settled in Farmington. He will be remembered mostly for his great sense of humor and his ability to make friends with anyone he met. An avid Cardinal baseball fan, Jerry also enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his beloved grandkids. Survivors include his children, Mark Anthony Wells, Christopher McQuay, Shannon Stahl, Jamie (Lilly Wright) Stahl, Alicia (Joey Bales, Sr.) Stahl and Joshua Stahl; twenty four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving are three sisters, Gwendolyn, Shirley and Shawn; three brothers, Donny, Mike and Reg; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family whom he loved very much. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. with a funeral service beginning at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Memorials may be made to the family.
