Jerri-Jane Johnson

FARMINGTON Jerri-Jane Johnson passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 73. She was born in St. Louis on September 2, 1950, to the late Joseph Paul Graff, Sr. and Margaret (Garland) Graff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Paul Graff, Jr. and a sister, Georgia Anne Biring. Jerri-Jane grew up in Crestwood, Missouri and went through all her school years at Ursuline Academy in St. Louis. She went on to attend college at SEMO. She spent her career in jobs helping other people, having worked with youth at the juvenile detention center and with troubled children in the community for many years. After retirement she volunteered much of her time at Beck Farms. Jerri-Jane was a faithful and active member at St. Joseph Catholic Church where she volunteered her time. She loved to travel and take fun trips to new placed, stopping along the way to explore and get into mischief. She especially loved touring wineries. Game nights with family were some of Jerri-Janes favorite events, especially playing Chicken Foot and doing puzzles. Jerri-Jane spent many hours reading and studying religion. She had a huge heart and wanted to help everyone, and her family will fondly remember her feistiness, fearlessness and strong willed nature Survivors include a son, Jeremy (Laura) Johnson and Megan (Justin) Arnold; stepson, Kevin Johnson; grandchildren, Layla Johnson, Isaac Johnson and Harper Arnold; and sisters, Mary Culley, Margaret Routh and Jeannette Bright. Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and special friends, Jackie and Gary Beck; Agnes Hinklebein and her beloved "honorary" grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 5 8 p.m. Visitation will resume Friday morning from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10 a.m. with Father William Thess as celebrant.
