ST. LOUIS Jeremy Dickey, of St. Louis, formerly of Farmington, passed away January 6, 2018 at the age of 34. He was born March 29, 1983 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Jean Marie (Feldker) Hensen and Terry Lynn Dickey. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Joshua.
Jeremy was a 2001 graduate of Farmington High School where he was active in band. He also enjoyed playing saxophone in the high school jazz band and MAC jazz band, as well. After attending Lindenwood College he embarked on a career as a mixologist. Jeremy also worked as an event coordinator and more recently was a department manager for World Market. An active supporter of the LGBTQ community, Jeremy was an avid movie fanatic who enjoyed living in St. Louis; and he was a big Cardinal baseball fan. Jeremy was extremely devoted to all of his family members and friends. His pet companions were like his children and he had recently lost his beloved cat, "Zonkers" and he leaves behind his dear canine, Naya.
Survivors, in addition to his parents are his husband, Jonathan Powers; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Feldker; step mother, Melody Kay Perkins; step-father David Hensen; siblings, Rosalie (Josh) Kaine, Adam (Lauren) Dickey, and Tabitha Dickey; best friend, Will Somogyi; nieces and nephews, Brenna, Logan, Isabella, Deven, Garrett and Ember.
Friends and family may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018.
