Jeffrey David Hafley

Jeffrey David Hafley, of Farmington passed away on Monday, June 17, 2013, at the age of 47. He was born on January 22, 1966, at Bonne Terre, son of Regina Blanche Hafley and the late Richard Lee Hafley. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Irene Crawford; an infant sister, Karen Hafley; a niece, Rachel Hafley and a sister-in-law, Shirley Hafley. Even though Jeffrey was handicapped from birth by a disability, he was a great blessing to his family. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. He will be remembered for enjoying music and his love for Three Musketeer candy bars. Watching children play and collecting match box cars made him happy and were his favorite pastimes. Survivors include his mother, Regina - the angel who watched over him for his entire life; two sisters, Teresa Montgomery and husband, D. J., and Robin Hafley; six brothers, Richard Hafley and wife, Lynn, Kevin Hafley, Keith Hafley and wife, Chris, Mark Hafley, Mike Hafley, and Reggie Hafley and companion, Cindy Long. Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Thursday, June 20 from 5 to 8 p..m. Visitation will resume Friday morning beginning at 7 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m. Graveside interment will be held at Pendleton Baptist Church Cemetery in Doe Run at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, June 30.
