FARMINGTON -Jeanette Frances Anderson of Farmington, passed away Saturday December 1, 2012 at Parkland Health Center at the age of 77 years. She was born May 27, 1935 in St. Louis, daughter of the late Benjamin Kludas and Frances (Mueller) Kludas-Nieburg. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-father Carl J. Nieburg, husband William E. "Bud" Anderson, and a dear and special aunt Lindy Gemeinhardt. Jeanette grew up in the St. Louis area, the first part of which she lived on Cherokee Street and South St. Louis where her father had a cigar shop. In 1954 she married the love of her life, William E. "Bud Anderson. Jeanette attended nursing school and earned her BSN at the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL. She worked for and retired from the Southeast Missouri Mental Heath Center, where she was the head nurse in admitting during most of her tenure. She also worked at the Mineral Area CPRC for a number of years. In her spare time she enjoyed playing bingo, babysitting the grandkids and going places and spending time with people. Socialization was a key part of Jeanette's life. She attended the Farmington Church of the Nazarene, where she was active in the women's prayer group. Jeanette is survived by three sons, William D. Anderson, James M. Anderson and his wife Jayne, and Steven C. Anderson and his wife Donett all of Farmington, a sister Kathleen and husband James Komorech of St. Louis, six grandchildren, Jennifer (Mrs. Ryan) Gillespie, Josh Anderson, Ben Anderson, Jon Anderson, Beth Anderson, and Tessa Anderson, two great-granddaughters, Ava and Ella Gillespie, and a host of other relatives, friends and neighbors. Visitation 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday December 4, 2012 at Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Visitation will resume on Wednesday morning after 7 a.m. followed by a funeral service in the Cozean Chapel at 10 a.m. Full obituary in Tuesday's paper and online at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
