Mildred Jean Spitzmiller of Farmington passed away on June 16, 2007, at St. Joe Manor at the age of 78 years. She was born on March 28, 1929, at Iron Mountain, to the late Bert and Annie (Smith) Ogle. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Raymond Spitzmiller. A long-time resident of Bismarck, Mrs. Spitzmiller was a homemaker and attended the Catholic Church. She enjoyed watching the birds and rabbits from her window, going shopping and eating out. Most of all she loved her children and grandchildren. She was always full of fun and liked to make people laugh. Her family will miss her dearly She is survived by three daughters, Debbie Dean of Park Hills, Myrtle Marks of Union and Donna Whited of Ironton, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, an aunt, Ruby Usher, and special cousins, Lucille Adkins and husband Oliver of Belleview, and Howard Pyatt and wife Shirley of Bonne Terre. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2007. Visitation will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, with a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at the Cozean Chapel with Father James French officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery at Bismarck.
