Jason Scott Pulliam

FARMINGTON Jason Scott Pulliam, of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on October 15, 2021, at St. Louis University Hospital at the age of 49. He was born on July 29, 1972, in Farmington to Gary and Mary (Hughes) Pulliam Jason is survived by his parents, Gary and Mary (Hughes) Pulliam of Farmington, MO, his siblings, Roxana (husband, Mike) Lipe of Clark, MO, Sherry (husband, Ronnie) Woods of Farmington, MO, Michael (wife, Sarah) Pulliam of Farmington, MO, and Justin Pulliam of Farmington, MO. He was a rockstar uncle to his nieces and nephews, Michaela (husband, Jared) Kirkendoll, Michealle Lipe, Ronni (husband, Sam) Merrill, Jaden Woods, Wyatt Woods, Emily Pulliam, and Alaina Pulliam. Jason is also survived by two great nieces, Aurora Woods and Arianna Woods, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, coworkers, team members, and friends along with special canine companion, Jake. Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Alice (Fry) Hughes, Rayford Earl Pulliam Jr. and Wilma (Howe) Murray, his great grandmother, Ruth I. Smith, his aunt and uncles, Joan and Gary Propst and Gary Hughes, and his niece, Danielle Woods. Jason earned his bachelors degree in criminal justice from Ashford University and was a graduate of the Police Academy at Mineral Area College. He was a 27 year employee at the Missouri Department of Corrections where he was currently the Functional Unit Manager for the Bonne Terre Department of Corrections. He played roller hockey for over 20 years most recently for CIA. He enjoyed swimming and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues fan. Jason was a wonderful person and was a friend to everyone he met. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Visitation will resume on Thursday at 7:00am until time of service at 10:00am in the Cozean Chapel with Pastor Greg Robinson officiating. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery.
