Jannette Cooper

Jannette Cooper of Farmington passed away on April 22, 2006 at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center at the age of 70 years. She was born on March 15, 1936 in Bonne Terre, the daughter of the late Clifton and Mildred (Hinkle) Harvey. She was also preceded in death by son, William in infancy, and a sister, Annette Sutton. Mrs. Cooper was a member of the St. Francois Country Club and was an avid and accomplished golfer. Her family loved her devotedly and will miss her with all their hearts. That includes her husband, Bill Cooper, two daughters, Terri Grindstaff and her husband, Paul Grindstaff Jr., and Tammy Walker all of Farmington, two grandsons, Paul Grindstaff, III of Springfield and Justin Gillam of Farmington, and a sister, Faye (Mrs. Charles) Sitzes of Farmington. Several nieces, nephews and many cherished friends also survive. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2006. Visitation will resume on Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. A funeral service will be held at the Cozean Chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Don McGuire officiating. Burial will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
