Janet M. Thomure

FARMINGTON - Janet Marie Thomure, 51, of Farmington, passed away September 23, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 24, 1964 to Rev. Cleo and Barbara (Cox) Counts who survive. Janet was a life long resident of the Farmington area having graduated from Central High School in 1982. A devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed living on the farm. In her spare time she enjoyed going camping and cooking on an outdoor fire. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her family. She will be remembered most for her contagious smile and her great sense of humor. Survivors in addition to her parents include her loving husband of 28 years, Paul Thomure; her children, Kenny (Courtney), Chris (Melissa) and Kayla; one grandchild, Abigail; her sister, Brenda (Tony) Hampton; her brother, Frank (Jessica) Counts; several nieces and nephews; her sisters-in-law who were like sisters, Barb Thomure, Mary Kennon, Dorothy Thomure and Pam (Chris) Hux; brothers-in-law, Bill Thomure and Fred (Tammy) Thomure; and good friends and other extended family. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Friday, September 25 from 5 - 8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday morning beginning at 7 a.m. until the service at 10 a.m. with Pastor Rick Hensley officiating.
