Janet Faye Klemp of Farmington passed away Saturday July 31, 2010, at Parkland Health Center at the age of 68 years. She was born on January 30, 1942, at Elvins, daughter of the late Glenwood Marshall and Bernice Geneva (Brooks) Dunn. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Gary Andrew Dunn, two sisters, Carla Sue Robinson and Donna Jean Dennis, and a close and long-time friend Bob Eskridge. Janet worked as a waitress and hostess at the Country Kitchen and Spokes restaurants in Farmington for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling, quilting, working crossword puzzles and spending time with her family. Janet will be missed by all those who knew and loved her, which includes her two children, Randell Lynn Klemp (Paula) of Farmington and Toni Denise Bogardus (Scott) of White Cloud, MI, a brother Harold Nelson of Park Hills, three grandchildren, Amanda Michelle Simmons (Bill) of Farmington, Jamie Lea Vincent (Keith) of Havelock, NC, and Devin Lynn Marler (Angelina) of Pacific, and six great-grandchildren. Many other friends and neighbors survive as well. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. on Monday August 2, 2010, at the Cozean Memorial Chapel. Visitation will resume at 7 a.m. on Tuesday followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel with the Rev. Tim Gray officiating. Burial will be at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. Memorials may be made to the Patriot Guard Riders of Southeast Missouri.
