Janene Duncan

FARMINGTON - Janene Duncan of Farmington passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 72 years. She was born October 25, 1941 at Joplin. She was preceded in death by her father James J. Mintz, her mother and step-father Jessie Mae (Brown) and Harry Hunt, a sister Janette Marook, a brother Ray Mintz, three daughters and one son in infancy and a grandaughter Sherry Johnson. She is survived by two sons, Frankie Ray Johnson of Farmington and David (& Jennifer) Duncan of Milan, Tennessee, three grandchildren, Megan Duncan, Erika (& Tyler) Townsend, and Michael Duncan, and a sister Phyllis (& Phil) Forsyth of Paris, Missouri. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory with the Reverend Matthew Prihoda officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Paris, Missouri at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Farmington Pet Adoption Center.
