BONNE TERRE - Jami Marie Marler, a kind-hearted free spirit, entered eternal rest on March 23, 2025, unexpectedly at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 39.
Jami is survived by her beloved children, Mariah Coonce and Adrhianna Bonds; her mother, Rose (Jeff) Jenkins; her father, Neal Marler; her cherished grandmother, Louise Pease; and Dennis Knox, who was very special to her. She also leaves behind her dear nieces, McKinzie Knox, Jadynce, and Alyjiha; her nephew, Terrance; and her great niece, Isla Marie. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, friends, and cousins who will hold her memory close to their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her father, Terry Richards; her brothers, Justin Knox and Ryan Knox; her uncle, Aaron Marler; and her grandparents, Vernon and Barbara Knox.
Jami was a kind and loving person who enjoyed spending time with her family, whether it was talking, crafting, or doing makeup together. She had a love for music, especially on road trips, and always enjoyed a cold glass of sweet tea. Known for her distinctive big glasses and vibrant jewelry, Jami had an unmistakable style that reflected her lively spirit. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Jason Welker.
