James Spencer Krause, Jr.

FARMINGTON - James Spencer Krause, Jr. of Farmington passed away June 28, 2018 at Parkland Health Center at the age of 58. He was born in Charleston, South Carolina to James Spencer Krause, Sr. and Sue Ann (Gerbersman) Krause, who survive. "Jimmy" as most knew him, loved God and all his family so very much. Many friends were special to his life giving him special memories to all. Jimmy became a "fisher of men" and truly loved all of nature and all God provided for us to use. He thoroughly enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, camping and shooting a bow. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 38 years, Joyce Elaine (Reever) Krause; two sons, Joshua (Jennifer Thorne) Krause and Travis (Sara) Krause; four grandchildren, Riley, Aurora, Lincoln and Owen; his siblings, Susan (Doug) Wiles, Lance (Patti), Mark (Julie), John (Ashley) and Daniel Krause; Brother-in-law, Chester Reever and sister-in-law, Cathy Starkey; and nieces, nephews and extended family. A celebration of life will be held July 8, 2018 at 6 p.m. at the Irondale Baptist Church. Memorials, if desired, may be made to Irondale Baptist Church.
