James Willis Marion Sr.

LEADINGTON - James Willis Marion Sr., of Leadington, entered eternal rest on February 1, 2025, at Southbrook Nursing Center at the age of 69. He was born on March 9, 1955, in Farmington, Missouri, to the late Gene Harley and Mary Viola (Cowley) Marion Harr. 

James is survived by his sons, James Marion Jr. of Park Hills, Don (Megan) Marion of Bonne Terre, and Gene Marion of Farmington, many grandchildren, his siblings, Monica “Nina” Woodencheck, Rose Shively, Diane (Eugene) Jones, Mary (the late Lloyd Blankenship) Harr, Audrey (Francisco) Lopez, Mickie Cade, Ernest “Ernie” (Jennifer) Harr Jr. and Marla "Beth" (Steven) Franklin, his stepdaughters, Ronda (Alan Oliver) Wileman and Crystal Wileman, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former spouse, Mary Lou (Rawson) Marion.

James formerly worked as a laborer in the construction industry. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and going to races. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
