James 'Jim' D. Myers

FARMINGTON James "Jim" D. Myers, of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on August 10, 2021, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 60. He was born on June 27, 1961, in Ironton, Missouri to the late Donald and Bobbie (King) Myers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother- in- law, Lloyd Lakamp. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Beverly (Crawford) Myers, his children, Andrea (Shane) Snodgrass of Fredericktown, Kara (Brandon Magee) Bess of Bonne Terre, and Jordan Myers of Fredericktown, his grandchildren, Shane, Kale, Celia, Drew, Keely, Jasper, Noah, Aubrie, Brayden and Greyson, his sisters, Barbara (Ronnie) Dudeck of South Bend, IN, Sherry Kaiser of Alpharetta, GA, Donna Lakamp of St. Louis, and Denise (Richard) Ortman of St. Louis, along with many other family members and friends. Jim was known for his unconditional love and his amazing hugs. He had a huge heart and was a friend to anyone he met. He was selfless, giving and was always considerate of others and loved his family more than anything. He spent many years employed as a salesman for Pepsi and Frito Lay. He enjoyed fishing, bike riding with his grandkids, tinkering, and fixing and building things. Jim will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2021, from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Visitation will resume on Monday, August 16 at 7:00am until time of service at 10:00am in the Cozean Chapel officiated by Nancy Woodcock. Interment to follow at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery.
