James 'Buck' Albert Snider Jr.

FARMINGTON James "Buck" Albert Snider Jr., of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on June 7, 2023, at his home at the age of 74. He was born on July 10, 1948, in Weingarten, Missouri, to the late James Albert Snider Sr. and Loretta Marie (Horn) Snider. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Kay (Hammond) Snider and his brother, Lester "Sonny" Snider. Buck is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Steven) Clary of Farmington, his grandchildren, Meika, Ryker, William, and Joseph, his siblings, Mary Ann Snider of Dupo, IL, Joleene (John) Henson of Farmington, William "Bill" (Ann) Snider of Farmington, and Edward (Donna) Snider of Ste. Genevieve, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Buck retired after many years of employment for Tower Rock Stone in Ste. Genevieve where he worked as a truck driver and a crusher operator. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and "piddling" around. Buck was a "one of a kind" and loved visiting and talking with his family and friends. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel officiated by Pastor Bob Webb. A fellowship meal will immediately follow the service at his nephew, Donnys Pavilion.
