Jacqueline "Jackie" Niedert

Jacqueline Jackie Marie Niedert of Farmington passed away on March 8, 2008 at Parkland Health Center at the age of 71 years. She was born on July 29, 1936, at Farmington, the daughter of the late Herman and Marie (Politte) Niedert. Mrs. Niedert was baptized and confirmed at Saint Joseph Church in Farmington. She was a 1954 graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School. She earned a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from St. Louis University in 1958 and later earned a Masters degree in Public Health Administration from John Hopkins University in 1973. Before she retired she worked as Director of Health Services in South St. Louis County She is survived by her close friends, Susan Evans and John Crouch both of Farmington, her friends at Presbyterian Manor and Parish Family. Many other relatives and friends also survive. The family will receive friends at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 on Wednesday, March 12. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at New Calvary Cemetery.
