IRONTON Jacklyn "Jacky" Wray McGinnis, of Ironton, 28 years of age, is now in the Summer Land of Paradise with her Ancestors and her Savior Jesus Christ; free of pain and in peace in pure Holy Divine Light of Love as of October 13, 2021. She was born on April 6, 1993, in Festus, Missouri to Kevin Wray McGinnis and Julia (Pritchett) McGinnis. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jerry "Jack" and Leora "Louise" (Woods) Pritchett previously of Doe Run and Alfred Wray and Pearl (Hamm) McGinnis previously of Knob Lick, and her half-sister, Jamie McGinnis, and her Soul Mate Brandon Larkin. Jacky is survived by her mother and best friend, Julia Louise (fianc Robert Eckert) Pritchett-McGinnis of Ironton, her father, Kevin (Sharon Wisdom) McGinnis of Knob Lick, her sister, Amber "Nichole" McGinnis Hovis, her nieces and nephew, Allie, Emma, and Dylan. Also, Uncle Michael and Aunt Connie Pritchett of Desloge, and Uncle Steve Pritchett of rural Farmington. Two very special neighbors, Marie Battreal and George "Azabache" LeChuga, who was always like family to Jacky. Her trusted and loyal service dog, Onyx, who was with her when she crossed over and a host of many family members and friends who were family to her. Jacky attended St. Paul Lutheran School as a young girl. She helped her parents raise Giant Schnauzers and Mini Schnauzers through her childhood and teen years. She delighted in rescuing, training, and rehoming canines. She volunteered at Purina Farms for AKC Dog Shows, was a member of the Spirit of the Heartland Kennel Club and was a former volunteer at Humane Society of the Ozarks and the Open Hearts Store in Ironton. Her favorite places to be were in the hills of the St. Francois Mountains exploring the land, plants, and waters. She was truly a lover of nature, especially in the presence of the native wild animals of the forests. She will be forever fondly remembered for her outspoken sense of humor and personality, and dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. Jackys Spirit touched many lives.
