Jackie 'Jack' Ray Overby

FARMINGTON Jackie "Jack" Ray Overby, of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on October 17, 2023, at his home at the age of 85. He was born on May 22, 1938, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late James and Loretta Bernice (McDaniel) Overby. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Calvin Overby, Clinton Overby, Patsy Gamerdinger, and Larry Overby. Jack is survived by his soulmate of 26 years, Donna Tinsley of Farmington, his aunt, Melba Conrad, along with a brother-in-law, many sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jack proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army Reserves. He was a member of Teamsters Local 682. He enjoyed spending time on his farm, hunting, fishing, and volunteering and cooking at the VFW in Maplewood. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Dannie Patterson. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
