Jack T. Bryant of Farmington passed away on Novemer 10, 2014 at the age of 85 years. He was born August 30, 1929 in Stockton, Missouri, son of the late Tom and Jane Bryant. Jack graduated from Farmington High School and went on to the University of Missouri. He graduated from Mizzou in 1952 with a BSBA. He spent his career as a real estate appraiser and owned his own commercial and residential appraisal business. Jack loved the game of golf and was an avid fan of not only golf but Mizzou football and basketball. In his earlier years he also enjoyed bird hunting. A member of the Farmington Elks and St. Francois County Country Club, he was also a member of Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Hilda (Huber) Bryant; two daughters, Janice (Mrs. Tom) Glennon, Cindy (Mrs. Ken) Dahlstrum and a son, Terry and wife, Carla; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Betty Detring, Pat Vogt and Judy Bunselmeier. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 2 - 6 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Reverend Scott Hall officiating. An Elks Lodge service will be held at the beginning of the 6 p.m. service. Private interment will be held at a later date at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Presbyterian Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
