He was born November 7, 1935 at Lonedell son of the late Earl Joseph and Frances Josephine (King) Comstock. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Earlene Comstock and Joan Moore, and a brother Wendell Comstock. Mr. Comstock served in the National Guard and was also a Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife Ann J. (Pruitt) Comstock, daughter Jacqueline Meyer (Dale), grandchildren Lakota Meyer (Jessica), Chase Meyer, Beth Meyer, and Levi Meyer, great-grandson Gage Meyer and one great-granddaughter to be, Cordelia Meyer expected in March. He is also survived by a brother Earl Comstock and a sister Diane Barnhart, and numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2012 at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory with a funeral service on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Burial with Naval Honors will follow in the Horine Cemetery at Richwoods. Memorials may be made to the New Life Evangelistic Center.
