Ivan Glenn Minks

FARMINGTON - Ivan Glenn Minks, of Americus, Georgia, formerly of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on August 24, 2022 at Lee County Health and Rehabilitation at the age of 87. He was born February 9, 1935 in Farmington, Missouri to the late Clyde Minks and Margaret (Bradfield) Minks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine (Watts) Minks. Survivors include his three daughters, Christy Kjos of Pensacola, Florida, Susan Minks, of Leesburg, Georgia, and Carol Stone, of Americus, Georgia, one Son Ivan Minks, Jr of Barnsville, Georgia, 2 two stepdaughters, Carla Burnham and Michele Owen, one brother, Wayne Minks and one sister, Loretta Hanna, nine grandchildren: Jennifer Kjos Taylor, Ashley Kjos, Angela Tang, Tiffany Tang, Joshua Minks, Jathan Minks, Sara Minks, Brittany Minks, and Jade Stone, additional grandchildren include Robert Thompson, Heather Wall, Justin Thompson, Brandon Thompson, Benjamin Centunzi, and Sara Bardin, a number of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Parkview Cemetery beginning at 1:15 p.m. with Joshua Minks and Wayne Minks officiating.
