Ivan Edward Hill

FARMINGTON Ivan Edward Hill passed away September 13, 2016 at Camelot Nursing and Rehabilitation at the age of 92. He was born October 31, 1923 to the late Curtis and Myrtle Hill. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Steve Hill and several brothers and sisters.

Ivan proudly served his country in two tours of duty with the United States Army during WWII. For most of his adult life he was employed as a truck driver. He was a life member of the Farmington VFW Post #5896. In his spare time Ivan enjoyed restoring old tractors and gardening.

Survivors include his wife, LaVerne (Lucas) Hill; a daughter, Carolyn Hill, son, Edward Hill; one brother, Donald Hill; 3 step-children, Carl Wilson, Pamela Wilson and Wanda Cox; grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
