Irma "June" Hall

June Hall, of Farmington, passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 6, 2015 at Farmington Presbyterian Manor at the age of 84. She was born February 21, 1931 in Bonne Terre, the daughter of the late Lee Homer and Jessie Lee (DeClue) Pratte.

June grew up in Bonne Terre where she graduated from high school in 1949. She loved spending time with her family more than anything. Her family and friends will fondly remember her for her love of the Christmas season and the Christmas Eve parties she hosted annually. She was a homemaker as well as the bookkeeper for the family owned business, Halls 66 Service Station. In her spare time June was an avid reader and also enjoyed her beloved canine companions, Poncho and Benji.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Bill Hall; children, Keith (Emily) Hall of Brandon, MS, Kent (Jennifer) Hall of Farmington and Kim (David) Hillyard of Imperial, MO; three grandchildren, Michael Hall, Megan (Jason) Coleman and Mitchell Hillyard; three great grandchildren, Andrew, Blake and Easton Coleman; two brothers, Larry (Lois) Pratte and John (Ruth) Pratte and one sister, Sally Giesler all of Bonne Terre; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 4 7 p.m. followed by a memorial service in the Cozean Chapel at 7 p.m. with Rev. Jacob Pollard officiating. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Farmington Pet Adoption Center.
