Howard Franklin Sutton

Howard Franklin Sutton of Farmington passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011 at his residence at the age of 80 years. He was born on August 2, 1931, at Annapolis, son of the late Ernest and Stella (Talley) Sutton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Sutton. Mr. Sutton proudly served his nation and retired from the United States Navy with over 20 years of service to his country. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington. Howard will be missed by all those who knew and loved him including his wife, Marilyn (Vollert) Sutton, three sons, Lonnie Sutton of Ventura, CA, Brian Sutton of Coventry, RI, and Neil Sutton of Kenei, AK, three sisters, Rose Waricke of Annapolis, MO, Virginia Mitchell of St. Louis, MO, and Helen Martin of St. Louis, MO, a brother, Norman Sutton of Annapolis, MO , 4 grandchildren, a great-grandson, and many other relatives and close friends. The family will receive friends at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Visitation will resume on Thursday at 7 a.m. with a memorial service at 11 a.m. Private inurnment with full Military Honors will be at Annapolis Cemetery.
