Hope E. Hughes

FREDERICKTOWN – Hope Elizabeth Hughes, of Fredericktown, entered eternal rest on August 12, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 58. She was born on August 26, 1965, to Orville Edmond and Betty (Massoritti) Edmond in White Hall, Illinois.

Hope is survived by her mother, Betty Edmond; her husband of 37 years, Jerry Hughes; her children, Jerry (Kayla) Pritchett, Jennifer Bertrand, Tiffany May, and Angel (Nick) Charleville; her grandchildren, Corbin, Tristen, Kiley, Davon, Jet, Payton, Faith, Damian, Brian Jr., Hudson, Carson, Myla, and Forrest; her siblings, Donnie (Shannon) Edmond and Ronnie (Crystal) Edmond; and her sister-in-law, Mary Ann Dickerson. Hope was preceded in death by her father, Orville Edmond.

Hope worked in healthcare for over 30 years, spending 13 of those years at the Baptist Homes in Ironton. In her spare time, she enjoyed listening to music, swimming, watching the Kansas City Chiefs, and being outdoors. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
