Herb Louis Tessereau

Herbert Louis Tessereau of Joplin, MO passed away July 6, 2011, at the age of 84 years. Herb was born on April 10, 1927, at Esther, son of the late Heber Tessereau and Stella (Nations) Tessereau. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Wann, and two brothers, Billy Bob Tessereau and Delmar Curtis Tessereau. Herb proudly served his country both in the Merchant Marines and the U.S. Coast Guard. He retired from Doane Products Co. of Joplin as Chairman and CEO. Herb was a member of Lake Harriet Masonic Lodge No. 277 in Minnesota, Scottish Rite of Masonry Counsel in Minnesota and Shriner's Counsel of Springfield, Missouri. He is survived by his wife, Betty (Meese) Tessereau, a daughter, Penny Lee Warman of Joplin, and a granddaughter, Candi Lindsay of Fort Myers, FL, a brother, Donald G. Tessereau of San Diego, CA; four sisters, Patsy Vincent and Barbara Hemenway both of Ballwin MO, Judy Denneson of Maple Plain, MN, and Janet Sue Folkerts of Cumming, GA. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 25, starting at 10 a.m., at the Farmington Christian Church at 201 W. Columbia Street, followed by interment at Libertyville Christian Cemetery under the direction of Cozean Memorial Chapel. Share your memories and condolences at cozean.biz.
