FARMINGTON Henry J. Neurohr, of Farmington, passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2024, at Parkland Health Center in Bonne Terre at the age of 62. He was born September 1, 1961, in St. Louis, the only child of the late Henry Michael Neurohr and Marie (Heidenfelder) Neurohr. As a child, Henrys parents moved from St. Louis in the late 1960s to southern St. Francois County where they lived on a farm. He graduated from Farmington High School and went on to graduate from Southeast Missouri State with a bachelors degree in Agricultural Science. He also attended Rankin Tech where he obtained a degree in boiler operation. He became a certified boiler inspector for the State of Missouri and did a lot of work in the St. Louis area. He was in his element living on his working farm. Henry was an excellent cook who enjoyed hosting friends for dinner. Traveling to rock concerts with his wife, Susan, was a favorite pastime. He had a great love for animals and had many throughout his life. Henry was a loving husband to his wife of 13 years, Susan (Detring) Neurohr; and a loving father to his son, Henry Michael Neurohr; and grandfather of Henry Owen Neurohr. He also leaves behind close friends, Jon Cozean, Angie Hahn and a special cousin, Hermann Eisele. There will be a visitation at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Monday, February 19, 2024, beginning at 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel.
