Helen Wanda Lamb

FARMINGTON Helen Wanda Lamb, of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on September 28, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 82. She was born on April 9, 1941, in Banner, Missouri, to the late Richard and Novie (Lewis) Barton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Norman Barton, Erman Barton, Mazel Woods, Mary Lou Nichols, Arland "Fritz" Barton, and Erma Catherine Barton, her father-in-law, Henry Lamb, her mother-in-law, Freda Lamb, and her sister-in-law, Joan (Lamb) Miller. Helen is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ivan Lamb, her children, Pamela (Mitchell) Richmond of Ballwin, Karla Wilson of Hattiesburg, MS, and Scott (Tara) Lamb of Ironton, her grandchildren, Logan (Dru) Wilson, Katelynn (Eathan) Huff, Grant (Callie Farris) Wilson, Abigail Richmond, and Jackson Lamb, her great grandchildren, Blakely Huff and Ridge Huff, her siblings, June Hodge, Velma Phegley, and Harland "Sonny" (Sharon) Barton, her brother-in-law, Lloyd Lamb, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Helen was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church. She was a former longtime member of Bethel United Baptist Church where she served church secretary for several years and sang in the Bethelaires Quartet. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and Southern gospel and traditional hymnal music but most of all she loved her kids and grandkids. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Visitation will resume on Monday, October 2, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m. in the Cozean chapel with Pastor Roger Hogan officiating.
