Helen Josephine Emert

FARMINGTON Helen Josephine Emert passed away on December 21, 2020 at Camelot Nursing and Rehabilitation at the age of 102 years. She was born on March 18, 1918 in Champaign, Illinois to the late Charles and Mary (Pankau) Tempel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Emert, her daughter, Patricia Dombrosky, along with four siblings. Helen is survived by her sons, Alan (and wife Elaine) Emert of Black, Missouri and Robert (and wife Margaret) Emert of St. Louis, Missouri, twelve grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Because of her husband's job, Helen lived in many places in the country throughout her life. She was a talented artist who enjoyed painting and was a wonderful baker whose specialty was her chocolate chip cookies. She was also an avid golfer.
