Heather Nicole Porzeinski

FARMINGTON Heather Nicole Porzeinski, of Farmington passed away at her home on December 13, 2023 at the age of 32. She was born on December 11, 1991, to the late Richard Porzeinski and Norma (Thomure) Porzeinski. Heather grew up in Farmington where she attended school. Until the time of her passing she was employed by Forte where she had worked since 2018. While working at Forte she developed a close bond with several of her coworkers and staff. The highlight of her life was her daughter Riley Jean. Her crowning achievement in life was her ability to overcome addiction. She had been clean for six years and was very proud of her accomplishment. She loved to go on trips with her family, especially to the beach. One of her favorite pastimes was journaling about her life, family and God. In addition to her daughter, Riley, Heather is survived by her aunt and uncle who are active grandparents to Riley, Pam and Chris Hux; aunts, Dorothy Thomure and Tammy Thomure; uncle, Paul Thomure; numerous cousins; her special friend, Sara and her Forte crew. Also surviving are special cousins, Lucas, Daniel, Savanah, Everleigh and Evan. Visitation will be held Monday, December 18, 2023, at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 8 p.m. Visitation will resume Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel until the time of the funeral beginning at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rick Hensley officiating. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a trust fund for the benefit of Riley Jean.
