Heather Marie Hill

Heather Marie Hill of Farmington passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the age of 18 years. Heather was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Martha A. Gardner and her maternal grandfather, Lee Walsh. Heather was a Junior at Farmington High School where she was active in Junior ROTC. She will be remembered by most as the ultimate dancer and even danced down the halls at school. She was never at a loss for words and had her own version of "Heather's vocabulary". She enjoyed the outdoors and she was a "four wheelin', mud slingin', camo wearin' girl". She and her sisters Gabby and Casey had lots of fun times changing the color of their hair. Shopping with her mom was always a good time. She loved to go visit her Grandma Walsh and help her decorate for Christmas. Heather and Casey made lots of road trips to Elsinore to visit their cousin, Mary. "Grandma Judy" was her very best friend whom she watched soap operas with, talked with and took drives with. She loved hanging out with her "Bubbies", texting her friends and writing poetic greetings to friends on facebook. Survivors include her father, Paul Hill, her mother, Leeann Hill, a sister, Gabrielle, a brother, Tyler, paternal grandfather, Howard Hill, maternal grandmother, Betty Walsh and her step-mother, Karen Staples. Also surviving is a step-sister, Casey Moser, step-brothers, Stephen and Thomas Crain, her very best friend, "Grandma Judy" and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, February 6. Visitation will resume Tuesday at 7 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Interment will be at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in St. Clair. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home to defray expenses of the funeral.
