Harry Lee Neal of Farmington passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2011, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, at the age of 83 years. He was born on April 25, 1928, at Braggadocio, MO, son of the late Theola (Scott) and Matthew Harry Neal. He was also preceded in death by his three brothers and a sister. Harry proudly served his country in the U. S. Air Force in the Korean War. He was a member of the Washita Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Maxine (Patterson) Neal, three children, Pamela Hercules (Robert) of St. Louis, Steven Menendez (Dena Donato) of Columbia, IL, and Jackie Kestler (Kevin) of St. Charles, four grandchildren, Matthew and Ryan Hercules of St. Louis, and Kelsie and Kyle Kestler of St. Charles, a great-grandson, and his faithful companion, Brandy Dog. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. The family will receive friends at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 7 a.m. with a funeral service at 10 a.m. with Pastor Kevin Miller officiating. Interment with Military Honors will be at 1:30 p.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorials may be made to the Washita Baptist Church.
