Harry Bereniski, formerly of Farmington, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2010, at Stockhoff Memorial Nursing Home, at the age of 79 years. He was born at Ste. Genevieve County on September 10, 1930, son of the late Phillip and Margret Ann (Jarbo) Bereniski. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Joey Bereniski, an infant sister, Katey and five brothers, George, Elmer, Mike, Steve and Willie Bereniski. Harry was a log cutter and saw mill worker for Botkin Lumber and Klepzig Stave Mill for many years. In retirement, his enjoyed reading Western novels and gardening. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Dorothy (Duff) Bereniski, five daughters, Mary Lou Clemmons, Linda (Mrs. Eddie) White, Doris (Mrs. Pat) Cruse, Debbie (Mrs. Norman) Sellars and Allana Windle; fifteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren; two brothers, Andy and Phillip Bereniski; a sister, Genevieve Rottler; nieces, nephews and extended family members. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2010. Funeral services will follow beginning at 1:00 pm. with Pastor David Pinkston officiating. Interment will follow at Little Vine Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve County. Memorials may be made to the Little Vine Baptist Church Cemetery.
