Gregory Henson

DOE RUN - Greg Henson, of Doe Run, passed away September 19, 2015 at the age of 51. He was born May 4, 1964 to Cyrus Henson and Betty (Berry) Henson who survive. Greg was a 1982 graduate of Farmington High School. He attended Vo-Tech school while attending high school where he learned the trade of carpentry. As well as working in carpentry he had a business contracting for the State of Missouri as a driver. For a time he was also an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed going camping with his family and he also liked fishing and hunting. Survivors in addition to his mother and father include his two sons, Jake Henson and Zak (Sarah) Henson; one grandson, Cyrus Charles Henson; brothers, Michael (Cheryl Coleman) Henson and Christopher (Sandy) Henson; his companion of seven years, Sherry; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and good friends. He also leaves behind his special canine, Bullet. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, September 22 from 5 - 8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday morning beginning at 7 a.m. until the service at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Interment will follow at Cove Cemetery near Arcadia. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to help defray costs of the funeral.
