Glenda Faye Sebastian of Farmington passed away March 27, 2007, at the Mineral Area Regional Medical Center at the age of 92 years, She was born on February 4,1915, at Libertyville, the daughter of the late Jesse E. and Eunice (Brown) Mills. She was also preceded in death by husband, Carl, a brother Earl, and a sister Juanita. A life-long resident of this area, Mrs. Sebastian was a member of the Libertyville Christian Church. She was a friend as well as a wonderful mother to her children, and always put the needs of her family first. Glenda was an avid gardener and, according to her family, the best cook in the county. Her greatest enjoyment was being with her children and grandchildren and always being concerned with their well being until the very end. She will live on in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by two sons, Jack and wife Diane Sebastian of Farmington, and Jerry and wife Susan Sebastian of Monett, MO, by a daughter, Joan (Mrs. Lloyd) Turnbeau of Springfield, MO. Also surviving are a sister, Eloise and husband Truman Berry of Fredericktown, 11 grandchildren, 21 great- grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, March 28, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday beginning at 7:30 a.m. Funeral services will follow at the Cozean Chapel at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Gene Proffer officiating. Burial will be at Hillview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
