Glenda Marie Horn

FARMINGTON- Glenda Marie Horn of rural Farmington, departed this life on Sunday May 12, 2013 at her home at the age of 74 years. She was born January 22, 1939 at Bonne Terre daughter of the late Roy Glenwood and Daisy (Hughes) McGee. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Walter Lee Horn, and a grandson Jeffrey Paul Corcoran. Glenda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was proud of being a homemaker. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, playing bingo, and listening to country music particularly Josh Turner. She, along with her late husband, was a member of the Family CB Club of Missouri where she was known as "Big Bit". Glenda will be missed by all those who knew and loved her including: daughter, Linda Kay (Jeff) Holdman of Park Hills, daughter, Brenda Fay (Kevin) Schrum of Farmington, son, Walter Wayne Horn of Cape Girardeau, son, Roy Lee (Sherry) Horn of Desloge, daughter, Maggie Lavada Witt of Farmington, brother, Charles McGee of the State of Texas, sister Wanda Cox of the state of California, 12 grandchildren, Greg Corcoran, Tara Baker, Kara Pirtle, Brian Holdman, Leanna Ashe, Derrick Horn, Kevin Scott Schrum, Erin Sutton, Christopher Schrum, Roy Lee Horn Jr., Shiana Witt, and Daniel Witt, eight great-grandchildren, Breanna, Dylan, Alexia, Kimber, Landon, Tenley, Ayden, and Kason and many other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 7 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. at the Cozean Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Muse officiating. Interment will be at Pendleton Cemetery in Doe Run.
