Glenda Crites

FARMINGTON- Glenda Marie Crites, 71 of Farmington, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014. She was born June 6, 1943 at Elvins daughter of the late Frank and Dovie (Hails) Burnia. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert, Lawrence, Charles, and Benjamin Burnia and one great-grandson Cason Bauss. Glenda loved flowers and enjoyed collecting photographs of her family and friends. She was very fond of her family, particularly her grandchildren. She was a sweet and kindhearted soul. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her including her husband of 53 years, William J. Crites of Farmington, a son Rodney (& Shea) Crites of Tipton, OK, two daughters Lisa (& Christopher) May of Farmington and Laurie (& Gary) Daves of Pacific. Nine grandchildren, Jason May of Virginia, Lauren May of Farmington, Jennifer Bauss of Arkansas, T. J. Tyler, Zachary Crites, and Owen Crites all of Oklahoma, and Allison, Amanda, and Aaron Daves all of Pacific; four great grandchildren, a sister Mary Williams of Park Hills, and numerous other relatives, neighbors and friends. Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2014 at Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Interment will be at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
