FARMINGTON Gladys Marie Yeager, of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on June 28, 2022, at the Arbors at Maplebrook at the age of 87. She was born in Bismarck, Missouri on September 23, 1934, to the late O. Elmer and Florence (Morris) Gibson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee McCormack Yeager, her previous husband, Robert J. Bequette, her brother, Eugene (the late Mary "Lou") Gibson, and her son-in-law, William O. Carson II. Gladys is survived by her children, Sonia Bequette of St. Louis and Robert "Mike" (Vicki) Bequette of Farmington, her grandchildren, Travis (Melissa) Newberry, Tracy (James) Henson, Amy (Brian) McFarland, and Kyle (Kailey) Bequette, her great grandchildren, Jackson, Kaitlynn, Nathaniel, Treyton, Katherine, Blayne, and Kyleen, her brother, Melvin (JoAnn) Gibson of Hammond, LA, her sister-in-law, Betty Yeager, along with nieces, nephews, and many friends. Gladys retired from the North County School District. She was the first speech therapist who served the state of Missouri. She enjoyed traveling, renovating houses, painting, sculpting, ceramics, and going to the casino. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A private service will be held. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
