STE. GENEVIEVE - Gerald Wayne Williams of Ste. Genevieve, passed away on June 3, 2020 at his home at the age of 77. He was born in Paragould, Arkansas on September 9, 1942 to the late Gerald D. Williams and Joy Proffitt. Gerald proudly served his country as a United States Navy Veteran. He was a pipe fitter and member of United Association of Plumbers, Steamfitters, and HVAC Service Technicians Local 230 of San Diego. He was an ordinary extraordinary human being who was loved by everyone. Gerald was an outstanding griller who enjoyed fishing, nature, birds but most of all spending time with his family. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Iva (Wells) Williams, his daughters, Kanoi (David) Moorhead of Excelsior Springs, MO and Nikki (Jr.) Geiler of Ste. Genevieve, four grandchildren, Kyla (Robert), Jamie (Rachel), Jalyne (Cody), and Derek (Zena), four great grandchildren, Kylynn, Alexander, Jonah and Jameson, his sister and brother in law, Bonnie and David Graham of Marietta, CA along with many nieces, nephews and friends. A private celebration of Gerald's life will be held on Saturday, June 13. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
