Georgia Biring

Georgia Biring of Farmington fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Friday, June 10, 2011, at NHC Healthcare of Desloge, at the age of 64 years. She was born March 4, 1947 in St. Louis, daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Garland) Graff. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Graff Jr. Georgia was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Crestwood. She attended high school and secretarial school in St. Louis and was employed as a secretary for many years before retiring due to health issues. In 2004 she moved to Farmington to be closer to her sister and began attending St. Joseph Catholic Church until her declining health no longer allowed. Georgia will be missed by all those who knew and loved her, including two children, Hans Christian Biring of O'Fallon, IL and Anne Liese Biring of Imperial, four sisters, Jeanette Bright and Margaret Routh, both of St. Louis, Mary Culley of DeSoto, and Jerri Jane Johnson of Farmington, and seven grandchildren. Many dear friends and neighbors also survive. Georgia's family will receive friends at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 from 4 until 8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 7 a.m. with a funeral service at 1 p.m. at the Cozean Chapel with Father James Dyer officiating.
