FARMINGTON George Clifton Ward of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on July 19, 2021, at his residence at the age of 77. He was born on April 12, 1944, in Manhattan, Kansas to the late Dr. Frank and Bernadine (Mitchell) Ward. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janis (Fink) Ward who passed away in 2001 George is survived by his sons, Gerry (and wife Angela) Ward of Farmington and Gregory (and wife Lindy) Ward of Farmington, three grandchildren, Hunter, Brennan, and Ryder, one brother, Gary (and wife Lois) Ward of St. Louis along with many friends. George proudly served his country during the Vietnam era as a United States Air Force veteran. He retired after 35 years of employment with the Farmington Post Office. He was a member of the VFW Post 5896 of Farmington, the Elks Lodge 1765 of Farmington, the Audubon Society, and the American Society of Dowsers. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021, from 1:30pm-3:30pm at Cozean Memorial Chapel. A reception of fellowship will follow at the Elks Lodge of Farmington 1765, 1001 Krei Blvd, Farmington Missouri 63640 from 4:00 6:00 p.m.. Private interment with full military honors at Hillview Memorial Gardens on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m..
