Geneva Crump Langheld

Geneva Langheld Geneva (Jenny) Crump Langheld of Farmington passed away on March 2, 2007, at Camelot Nursing Center at the age of 87 years. She was born on February 27, 1920, at Mine La Motte, the daughter of the late Charlie and Mary (Rodgers) McMillin. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Jesse Crump and Elmer Langheld, four sons, Bobby, Merl, Earl, and Dale Crump, two sisters, Ruby, an infant sister, Viola, and a step-sister, June. Jenny was known as the crochet queen, hand making afghans "especially baby ones-- over the years. She loved spending time with her family and on the farm with her husband, Jesse. She also enjoyed helping other residents at Camelot Nursing Center. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Hulsey and husband Rayburn of Park Hills, three sons, Jesse Crump and wife Marlene of French Village, Donnie Crump and wife Sharon of Doe Run, Larry Crump and wife Karen of Farmington, a brother, Herbert McMillin and wife Doris of Park Hills, twenty-two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a special granddaughter, Deanna Gidden. Friends from Camelot Nursing Center, nieces, nephews, other relatives and acquaintances also survive. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2007, Visitation will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Monday with a funeral service at 10 a.m. at the Cozean Chapel with Rev. John Kammerman officiating. Burial will follow at McKendree Chapel Cemetery at Keyesport, IL. Memorials may be directed to Camelot Nursing Center.
