Gary Wayne Miller

CALEDONIA Gary Wayne Miller, of Caledonia, entered into eternal rest on December 10, 2023, at Parkland Health Center at the age of 81. He was born on August 2, 1942, in Clearwater, Missouri, to the late Charles and Glenna (Bloom) Miller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Georgia Adams, Connie Beauchamp, and Dale Miller. Gary is survived by his wife, of 62 years, Marilyn (Barton) Miller, his children, Jennifer Miller and Tony (Connie) Miller, his grandchildren, Matthew Miller, Charlie Miller, and Mandy Miller, his brothers, Allan Ray Miller and Richard Miller, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Gary proudly served as a United States Air Force veteran. He formerly worked as a purchasing agent for Doe Run Mining Company and retired after almost 30 years as a salesman for Mine Supply. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Belgrade and was a former member of the Lions Club of Belgrade. Gary was nicknamed "Mr. Community" by his family because of his active involvement with various community groups and events. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, the St. Louis Cardinals but especially attending his grandkids sporting events. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Visitation will resume on Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Interment with military honors to follow at Haney Cemetery.
