Gary Dean Dixon, Sr.

BRACKETTVILLE, TX - Gary Dean Dixon, Sr., age 68, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 10, 2015 in Brackettville Texas. He is survived by his 4 children, Dean (Judy), Jerry, Bill, and Lissa Dixon, his 9 grandchildren, Justin, Brent, Alex, Cassie, Zach, Taylor, Shelby, and Jeremy, and his great granddaughter, Aspen. He is also survived by his brother, Bill Dixon, his sisters, Patricia Dixon Sorrow, Donna Dixon DeShaney, and their families. He was born at Fredericktown on March 30, 1947, he is preceded in death by his wife Barbara (Welch) Dixon, parents, Earl Dixon and Glena (Jarvis) Dixon Brown. He is also proceeded in death by his sister Frieda L. Dixon, brother Jerry D. Dixon, and three grandchildren, April, Jeffrey and Andy Dixon. He was a wonderful father, brother, and friend. He will forever be missed by many. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Friday, April 24, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Fr. James Dyer officiating. Interment will be in the Adams Cemetery at Frankclay. Memorials may be made to the funeral home on behalf of the family to help defray funeral expenses.
