Gary Crites

Gary Lee Crites of Farmington passed away Sunday, March 25, 2007, at Parkland Health Center, at the age of 56 years. He was born on November 1, 1950, at Bonne Terre, to William and Doris (Hopkins) Crites. He was preceded in death by his father, William Crites. Mr. Crites was a member of the Farmington Elks for many years. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf as often as possible. He is survived by his wife Melinda (Mitchell) Crites, his mother, Doris Crites, both of Farmington, two brothers, Martin Crites and wife Pam and William Crites, all of Farmington, four sisters, Joyce Hopkins and husband Rick, of the State of Texas, Sue Bratti, of Steelville, and Paula and Ruth Crites, both of Farmington. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2007. An Elks service will be held at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday funeral services at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Rocky Good officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
